Fire Resistant Filing Cabinets

Guardwel Fire Resistant Filing Cabinets are specially designed to protect your valuable documents from fire. The entire filing cabinet has a double wall construction with a fire resisting compound in-between. The sheet metal thickness has been maintained to a minimum, to minimize the conduction of heat and has been substantially reinforced at vital places to withstand impact. Each drawer is housed in separate fire resisting compartments. The drawers roll out fully, freely and quietly. In an emergency a mere push will close an open drawer and secure it automatically.

After perfecting the technique of production in 1988, our Fire Resisting Filing Cabinet (FRFCs) successfully passed both the Fire Endurance and Impact tests at CBRI Roorkee for BIS licensing and ISI marking. In 2013 with a big leap forward. Our FRFC passed the rigorous 2 Hour test at ARAI Pune.

Construction

Drawers and Locking
Full, effortless and smooth rolling out of drawers. A mere push enough to close and secure a drawer automatically.

Six Lever dual control key lock on the top drawer to control locking on all drawers.

Individual drawer latches, to allow the users to leave one or more drawers unlocked with the plunger in the locked position

Locks designed and manufactured In house. In house facility ensures defect free locking system to the customer.

Styling and Finish
Guardwel Fire resisting filing cabinets are provided with attractively moulded recessed drawer handles combined with latch trigger and label holder. The entire cabinet is cleaned with anti rust solutions, primed and painted with anti rust (two-tone) paint.

Locking : Individual locks for each drawer, Underwrites Laboraties INC (USA) rated mechanical or electronic combination locks

Design modification: Drawer fitted within drawer suitable for storage of post dated cheques or specimen signature card. Shorter depths of 24” to optimize space utilization

Finish: Color of your choice in Enamel or Duco Paint finishes, at an extra cost.
